On paper the Lucid Air Grand Touring has a range of up to 832 km. In practice it depends on speed and weather – and because our car was tested by the Czech magazine fDrive.cz, you do not have to take our word for it. Here are their figures.
| Driving | Consumption | Range |
|---|---|---|
| Motorway, cruise control at 130 km/h, near-winter temperatures | 22.5 kWh/100 km | about 480 km |
| Mixed: one third city, one third country roads, one third motorway, 10–15 °C | 19 kWh/100 km | almost 600 km |
| Short city trips (2–3 km) in autumn | over 25 kWh/100 km | – |
In the motorway test the car covered 298 km with 38% of the battery left. Source: fDrive.cz, motorway range test and full road test, November 2025 (in Czech).
Czech news site Aktuálně.cz drove our car from Prague to Brno and back – 430 km in total – without charging. It kept to just over 130 km/h on the motorway and set off in the morning at 0 °C. It left with 99% of the battery and returned with 10%; motorway consumption came to 22.4 kWh/100 km. Source: Aktuálně.cz (in Czech), May 2026.
You will go further in summer and at a gentler pace, less far in frost and at higher speeds.
The Lucid Air charges at 924 V with up to 300 kW. What you actually get depends mainly on the charger: at a power-limited station fDrive.cz saw around 158 kW. At a strong fast charger you add several hundred kilometres in the time it takes to have a coffee. The car comes with a Type 2 cable and a charger for 230 V and 400 V sockets.
fDrive.cz praised the comfort above all: even on large wheels with low-profile tyres the car smooths out rough roads. Add a quiet cabin, limousine-like room in the back and two boots.
Test figures are one thing; your own route is another. A one-day rental costs CZK 7,400 excl. VAT with 150 km included; a weekend is CZK 14,900 with 600 km.
